Scripture invites us to pray, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). Faithful stewardship calls us to attend to lives and stories that often remain unseen.

In many churches, pain connected to abortion and post‑abortion experiences is carried quietly, shaping hearts and relationships beneath the surface. Recognizing and responding to this hidden pain is an essential part of shepherding those entrusted to our care.

Scripture calls us to walk wisely and redeem the time (Ephesians 5:15–16). God meets His people even in places where time feels broken or marked by pain.

Building Bridges 2026: Redeeming the Time is a one‑day, in‑person conference designed to equip church members and ministry leaders to thoughtfully engage in pro-life and post‑abortion healing through a gospel‑centered lens.

This FREE one-day conference presented by Homeward Church

includes worship, biblical teaching, practical equipping led by trusted voices committed to the Church’s role in healing and restoration,

and a complimentary lunch.

Let’s build bridges together for the glory of God and the good of the Church!

From Discouragement to Hope
A Testimonial from Senator Nancy Barto (ret.)

After years of advocating for laws to protect preborn babies and their mothers, it was shocking to see how quickly those efforts were rejected and how little they seemed to change public attitudes about abortion. It left many of us asking why facts and reason no longer seem to resonate.

The Building Bridges conference helped turn that discouragement into hope. It revealed the often-unseen emotional wounds carried by men and women after abortion, while also sharing powerful stories of healing and restoration.

The experience was both personal and practical for our Protect Unborn Babies team, helping us communicate more effectively and leading to the creation of our video, “Messaging in the Moment.”

Thank you for sharing your stories so others can find hope and healing.

Susan - Thank You Pastor

Because my pastor had a heart to help those who were sitting stoically, silently in pain due to their involvement in abortion, I am one of the many under his shepherding that has been set free from the pain of the past.
